Aldermore Group – why we exist

Let us tell you a bit about us

We're Aldermore – the award-winning bank, trusted and highly rated by over a quarter of a million customers for more than a decade. With our range of specialist mortgages, savings accounts and business finance solutions, we're backing more people to go for it.

We thrive by saying "yes" to our customers. We respect the ingenuity of entrepreneurs and their startups; we give first-timers a leg-up onto the property ladder; we open up the lending market to many; and thousands of customers choose MotoNovo Finance every week to buy their next car, van or motorbike.

This is where you come in. We are on a journey. A journey defined by a destination; to deliver on our purpose.

Let us tell you a bit about the opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Aldermore as a National Account Manager within our Intermediary Mortgage Sales team. You'll take ownership of a portfolio of strategically important national intermediary partners, helping to drive mortgage application growth, strengthen market share and deliver sustainable commercial success.

This role offers the perfect blend of relationship management and commercial strategy. You'll work closely with senior leaders across the intermediary market, developing joint business plans, uncovering growth opportunities and influencing the future direction of our proposition. As the voice of key distribution partners, you'll provide valuable market insight that helps shape business decisions while building long-term partnerships that make a genuine difference to Aldermore's growth journey.

If you're someone who enjoys building strong relationships, spotting opportunities, influencing stakeholders and delivering meaningful commercial outcomes, this is your chance to make a real impact.

What will your day look like?

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans across a portfolio of national intermediary partners.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, influencers and decision-makers.
  • Deliver lending volume, retention and market share growth through effective account management and business development activity.
  • Identify and implement new commercial opportunities, partnerships and distribution initiatives.
  • Create and manage joint business plans, tracking progress against agreed objectives.
  • Provide market intelligence and partner feedback to support proposition, product and strategic development.
  • Lead partner events including strategic reviews, conferences, roadshows, webinars and training sessions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Sales, Operations, Credit Risk, Product and Marketing to deliver great outcomes for partners and customers.

What do we expect from you?

  • Significant experience within the UK mortgage intermediary market.
  • Proven experience in National Account Management, Business Development or Relationship Management.
  • A strong track record of developing strategic partnerships and delivering measurable commercial growth.
  • Experience building and influencing relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • Experience developing account plans and growth strategies aligned to business objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities and risks through performance data and market insight.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and the flexibility to travel nationally.

What can you expect from us?

  • A friendly and flexible culture, the same as how we work with our customers.
  • A growing organisation that means there's lots of opportunities to progress.
  • A drive for continuous improvement, which you will be empowered to get behind from day one.
  • And of course, you will be rewarded competitively, with a good range of core benefits and bonus potential.

Still curious?

Join us and we'll make the same promises to you as a colleague, as we do to each of our customers. We're committed to building a working environment that values respect, diversity and compassion. We welcome people regardless of age, disability, gender identity, marital status, race, faith or belief, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, and whether you're pregnant or on family leave.

Please note that we have a thorough referencing process, which includes criminal record checks.

We champion equality by supporting the exceptions to the rule and getting finance to where it’s needed.

We lend the money people save with us, to people who want to get on in life; build businesses and create employment, buy property for people to live and work in, and purchase vehicles to move families and goods around.

Our Purpose, back more people to go for it

Back more people to go for it, in life and business.

Our behavioural framework underpins our purpose and strategic drivers, as it outlines the behaviours we need to demonstrate in order to succeed. Where our strategic drivers (Stay Ahead Propositions, Relationships That Last and Progressive Platform) outline what we need to do to succeed, our behaviours guide us in how. In your second interview, we’ll ask you to talk through some examples where you’ve demonstrated these behaviours in your previous roles.
